			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For many reasons I&#8217;ve decided that I need to start doing more traditional art again. I thought it might be fun for you guys to follow along as I try and relearn traditional techniques I haven&#8217;t used in many, many years. Like watercolors for example.</p>
<p>I did this drawing of an American Robin drawing (5&#215;7 in) on Watercolor paper this afternoon, and I&#8217;d like to lay in some washes of color. Nothing hardcore, just tint it a bit. And I&#8217;m terrified! I haven&#8217;t used watercolors in more than 20 years it seems like. At one time I was fairly proficient. I hope it comes back to me quickly. However, in case I totally mess up, I&#8217;ve scanned in the drawing for Photoshop coloring later.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the pencils. I&#8217;ll post the aftermath of my colors later. <img src='http://karynlewis.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
