Colorful Tuxedo Cat

I’ve been missing my poor old tuxedo cat Artemis, who we had to put to sleep earlier this year. I found this old unfinished cat illustration on my hard drive, and finished it. It’s not a portrait of my cat, but it reminds me of her.
This was probably started in Photoshop Elements, but I re-painted it in Photoshop CS3. Was trying for a loose, more painterly look.

That’s just lovely! Looks nicely ‘hand-done’ but also captures a great cat-ty expression.

Karyn – This is simply gorgeous. Love the colors and the looseness. I’d say you accomplished your goal.
